The first is a compact digital camera with 6 megapixels and 12x optical zoom, and it is a camera 10-megapixel compact with 3x optical zoom. Claiming that the price is substantially the same, which device is best to choose a casual photographer with plans for photographing people, wildlife, landscape and action shots?

Some brands require a 1:1 tube, others do not.) Also, for sport digital zoom on a digital camera may not be long enough. In addition, an optical zoom gives much better results.
